Noon Mbira Spirit -starting off another Canada Day with intercultural roots- a Zimbabwean singing country music with soulful glee
1pm Ronen & Kate -now the accordion is a very fine instrument and Ronan actually teaches it and with his wife they make it all sound so funtastic
2pm Hill 60-original tunes delivered quite sufficiently / efficiently by this valley 5 piece acoustic band – they are a treat
3pm Tropic Mayhem - yeppir, time to get on the dance floor with these valley favourites- wear your best Hawaiian shirts and make sure to kick those shoes off , let that grass tickle your feet
4pm Barry’s Fault -4 piece original folk / indie pop that caught our ear at a Dress Rehearsal Tuesday (open mic) at the Duncan Showroom- we believe they have something going on for their music
4:20pm Canada Day Cake Sharing – line up at the corner of the train station –thank you once again to SuperStore for the cakes
5pm Ryan McMahon- from Ladysmith, he has toured Canada extensively as a singer/songwriter winning the hearts of all he entertains - has been an opener for various Burton Cummings tours gives you an idea of his prowess
6pm The New Westerners - creep-folk/alt-country four piece from right here in the valley - their show weaves through many emotions, from quiet to loud, and gentle to fierce.
7pm McCandless Family Band – Chuck and his family are of Irish descent and it comes thru in their foot tappin’ sing along musical journeys of originals and covers – you just might find yourself on the dance floor
