Presidents Message 2023

It is with pleasure and gratitude that I write this year in anticipation of the 2023 Duncan Cowichan Festival Society’s presentation of the 39 Days of July.

The music festival planned and coordinated by Longevity John Faulkner and executed by Ted Cadillac and crew is the landmark we all wait for in downtown Duncan. It marks summer now, in its 13th year and gives a platform for all community to come together and embrace fun, festival, the arts and connection.

It is a beautiful thing to witness and a treasure for our town to have this amazing collection of events. This will be a truly incredible year with so much planned and so many great acts.

I am truly thankful to be part of the planning and support with the incredible board and associated groups that work together to help in making downtown Duncan ‘a rather fun place to be.’
